SUMMER CAMP FAQ
Safety, Supervision & Facility
Is the facility secure?
Yes. There is a single entrance and exit for drop-off and pick-up. All other doors remain locked during the camp day, and a lead camp counselor manages daily check-in and check-out.
What is the staff-to-camper ratio?
Our daily staff-to-camper ratio is approximately 10:1 to 12:1.
Are staff trained in First Aid and CPR?
Yes. All camp staff are trained in First Aid and CPR. We also have staff members trained in AED and EpiPen use.
What happens if my child gets hurt or doesn’t feel well?
Minor bumps and bruises are handled by trained staff using first aid supplies. If a child is not feeling well, they may sit out and rest. If symptoms suggest they should go home, parents will be contacted promptly.
What is your policy on behavior and bullying?
We follow a clear behavior policy that prioritizes safety and respect. This includes verbal warnings, written notices, parent communication, and removal from camp if necessary.
What the Camp Is Like
What do the kids do all day? What kind of camp is it?
Our camp is a structured, activity-based day camp designed to keep kids moving, engaged, and having fun all day without feeling like a rigid, sports-only camp.
Each day includes organized games, sports and movement activities, creative and enrichment time, snack and lunch breaks, downtime, and special theme days.
Is this a hardcore sports camp or more of a fun summer camp?
It is best described as “gym class all day.” Campers play sports and games with a strong focus on fun, inclusion, and trying new things.
Activities, Variety & Daily Schedule
Do kids rotate activities?
Yes. Campers rotate throughout the day and rarely remain in one activity for more than 45 minutes.
How much time is spent playing sports versus other activities?
Our goal is approximately 70% sports and games and 30% creative or enrichment activities.
What sports and games are included?
We offer a wide variety of sports and games throughout the summer. While campers often have favorites, we prioritize variety and exposure to multiple activities.
Are there non-sports or creative activities available?
Yes. Creative and enrichment activities are built into the daily schedule to provide balance and breaks from sports.
Is there downtime or rest during the day?
Yes. Supervised downtime is included daily so campers can rest and recharge.
Age Groups, Friends & Social Experience
How are kids grouped?
Campers are divided into three age-based groups. In some cases, children may flex up or down depending on the activity.
Can siblings or friends be together?
We do our best to honor requests for siblings and friends to be grouped together whenever possible.
What if my child is shy or nervous at first?
Our counselors focus on inclusion and encouragement, helping campers feel comfortable and involved quickly.
Is there a focus on teamwork and sportsmanship?
Yes. Teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive group dynamics are core values and guide all camp activities.
Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Registration Options
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?
The standard camp day runs from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Early drop-off begins at 7:00am, and late pick-up is available until 5:00pm.
Can I register by week or does it have to be all summer?
We offer flexible registration options including full-season passes, weekly passes, and day passes.
Food, Snacks & Belongings
Do kids bring lunch or is food provided?
Campers may bring their own lunch, and refrigeration is available. Lunch can also be purchased for $7 per day or $25 per week.
Are snacks provided?
Snacks are not provided. Campers should bring their own snack for snack time.
How do you handle food allergies?
We are a peanut and tree nut–free camp. Emergency medications and EpiPens are stored securely and clearly labeled.
Where do kids keep their belongings?
Each camper is provided a locker. Full-season campers receive a dedicated locker for the entire summer.
How often do kids get water breaks?
Water breaks are frequent and available as often as needed.
Pricing, Discounts & Policies
Is there a full-summer option versus weekly pricing?
Yes. Full-season, weekly, and daily registration options are available.
Are sibling or multi-week discounts available?

What is your refund or cancellation policy?
There are no refunds. However, camp weeks may be changed with at least 24 hours’ notice due to illness or scheduling changes.
Communication & Parent Experience
Will parents receive updates or photos?
Yes. Parents receive a weekly camp newsletter and can follow a dedicated camp Instagram account for updates and photos.
How do you communicate if there’s an issue?
Minor concerns are addressed with the camper and discussed at pick-up. More serious issues are communicated directly with parents during the camp day.
Who do I contact with questions during the summer?
